Happy November! We are barreling toward 2026, and we had 70 degree weather in my neck of the woods. Overall, it was a good day. And now, it’s time to spend some time with the writers of IWSG.
The awesome co-hosts this month are Jennifer Lane, Jenni Enzor, Renee Scattergood, Rebecca Douglass,Lynn Bradshaw, and Melissa Maygrove!
Every month, we announce a question that members can answer in their IWSG post. These questions may prompt you to share advice, insight, a personal experience or story. Include your answer to the question in your IWSG post or let it inspire your post if you are struggling with something to say.
November 5 question – When you began writing, what did you imagine your life as a writer would be like? Were you right, or has this experience presented you with some surprises along the way?
My exterior life is not specifically different, but I cannot say the same about my interior life. Years of developing my voice, my stamina, and my vision has helped me grow as both a writer and a human. Time for a little fun to offset my very grown-up answer to that question.
Who knew outdoor chairs were such a big target for thieves.

I leave you with a little music. See you next month.

Except for growing into my dotage, by the time I started writing, I was pretty much set!
It’s great that your life as a writer has helped you grow not only as a writer but also as a person.
Thank you.
I fell I’ve really grown as a person.
Why would they want all of those chairs?
I guess selling chairs is a booming business.🤷♀️
Grow as a human – I like that!
Yeah, I eventually like it, even if there can be growing pains.
My life hasn’t changed all that much either. Most of my life changes happened when I became a mother. 😀
Becoming a mother changes everything.
