It’s almost Halloween. Are you as shocked as I am to be ending October? The leaves from my trees are mostly on the ground now, and I’ve broken out the dress boots twice already. There’s no doubt summer is long gone, but not the news habit that I’ve begun. Yeah! I saw that cartwheel. 😉
First up, a heart-warming story that made me go aww…

Um, okay. Who thinks these things up?
Last up, another eclipse. This time, a little forewarning. Enjoy if you’re in a local where it’s visible.

With Halloween knocking at the door, I wanted to share a great book sale that’s currently ongoing. My wonderful critique partner, Lexa Cain, has put her horror novel Soul Cutter on sale for just 99 cents through October 31st. Pick up a copy now. 😉

I threw on a sweatshirt and jeans today to go out–and found out once I was already out of the house that it was 77 degrees. In OCTOBER. I didn’t change, though. It’s October, darn it. It’s supposed to be chilly!
We’re just now getting hints of the chill that needs to accompany fall. Weird weather this year, huh?
My city is #7.
That’s so sweet with the sheepdog and cub.
Watch out during the zombie apocalypse. 😉
The lion cub and sheepdog are adorable.
Aren’t they? 🙂
So sweet about the dog and lion cub! I’m glad I don’t still live in NYC in the face of a threatening ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!! Great eclipse info, and thanks so much for mentioning my sale! 🙂
My pleasure, Lex!
The dog and cub are so cute!
Aren’t they? Time for an extra aww… 🙂
