Another month has come and gone, and it’s time once again for a round of The Insecure Writer’s Support Group (I’m a little tardy for the party, though). If you haven’t clicked on the above badge to go swirling through the virtual wormhole that spits you out on any number of super cool blogs, do it.
As for this slightly tardy writer, well, my insecurity is once again about time. Kind of ironic given my late posting this Wednesday I know, but that’s in keeping with my overall sense of there’s too damn much to do. I have work, family, drafting of my second novel, reviews for my critique partners (which I’m super behind on), the holidays (which I enjoyed, but am happy they are over), personal reading and a ton of other little things. Geez…
I don’t have a question this month so much as a need to breathe. Argh… I’m tired, but I want to finish so much.
How does everyone else balance it all? (I guess I do have a question. 🙂

On to the news.
Um… Some people have too much money. It’s frozen water that’s meant to melt. If you’re interested in these, I have a bridge that might also peak your interest.

Yuck, yuck, yuck. YUCK! I don’t know if I’d ever be able to go in a public restroom again. Did I say YUCK?

Not too hot, not too cold. They’ve found even more planets that are just right. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE space? 🙂
That’ll do that for another week, folks. Have a great one. See you in seven. 🙂
None of us ever have enough time . . . and we all work differently, so we can’t compare ourselves. You just have to do what’s right for you. At this point, I can’t imagine putting out more than one book a year with my full-time teaching job. And having two children means I don’t write or do social media until 8:30pm most days when mom duty is winding down. I play catch-up on the weekends.
Although I write in the mornings mostly, it sounds like our time constraints are very similar. Some days I feel it more than others, though. I guess it’s the side of me that longs to do this full time. Dreams require time, don’t they? 🙂
I don’t think there’s a way to balance the time issue. As soon as you have the time, you don’t have the money, so that doesn’t seem to work out. What I do know is that, at some point, things find a way of leveling out. if there’s a way to do it, and you want to do it, you will find the way.
Agreed. If everything were perfect and easy I wouldn’t have anything to write about, huh? Thanks for commenting. 🙂
I have never plunged a toilet – and now I NEVER will. Ewww!! I don’t think there’s an answer for the time problem. I’m miserable I haven’t been able to write or review for a week — and I’m so into my novel, too! But setbacks are a fact of life. Just keep plugging away. 🙂
I’m with you on the toilet. YUCK! I hope you’re feeling better because those of us reading your new work definitely want you to have time to write. 😉 I will keep plugging, or as Dori said: “Just keep swimming.” Gotta love Nemo. 🙂
