Weekly News

Snow is falling and the temperatures are quite chilly in my little corner of the world tonight. It’s been a perfect evening for a laptop, a blanket and a short nap.  Now that I’m awake, *yawn* I thought I’d share some of the news tidbits found during my conscious moments playing around researching online.

The choreography and resets to get these to all work must have been a nightmare, but worth it.


Um, okay. Who’s this really meant to fool?


A library preserved in ash that is now sharing its secret with us via an x-ray technique – cool! I applaud any and every effort meant to uncover knowledge.


That’ll do it for another week. Time to close my laptop and head to bed. My nap was not nearly long enough. 😉

  1. Cool robot video. I don’t think it’s a good idea to have a virtual relationship. That’s wonderful about the x-ray technique.

    I liked the little robots, but since there mechanical, doesn’t it make sense they’d be in sync? Harder for humans. Love letters? To yourself? Really? *sigh* That x-ray technique is amazing! I wonder what “books” were in the Pompeii Library… Have a great weekend!

      Our snow is gone now. Did you get it? As to the fake love notes, ick and ahh. Whichever possibility I toss around leaves me either sad or disgusted, depending on whether they’re used to cover loneliness or perpetuate a lie.
