InsecureWritersSupportGroup2

It is time for The Insecure Writer’s Support Group once again. Time to release anxiety, soak in some support or just make connections with other writers out there in the virtual world. If you are so in need, click on the link above and sign up to join in. If you’re just up for some reading, you’ll find material worthy of giggles and more, so much more.

I’ve shown up as the party’s winding down once again this month. Dangnabbit! Overall life business keeps interfering in my writing time. Some days I wish I could chuck it all and just write.

Do you ever have those days?

First up in this week’s regularly scheduled news update: A gigantic um… okay. I’m all for fundraising, but isn’t this a little creepy?

Goes to show you that some political positions aren’t really necessary. Too many bad politician jokes. πŸ˜‰

Whatever it depicts, it is absolutely stunning and knowing that it’s larger than our solar system leaves me in awe.

That’ll do it for me tonight. Have an amazing night and I’ll see you in the virtual future.

  1. YES! In fact, I had one of those days yesterday. There’s so much going on that it’s almost impossible to snatch a moment to write, but while waiting for my kids at youth activities, I pulled out a clean sheet of paper, a pen, and let my mind go. So cathartic. We need those moments, eh?

  2. I work like a maniac at the day job so that I don’t have to bring too much of it home. With other stuff, I try to get that out of the way as quickly as possible. I don’t watch TV, just movies, so that frees me up a lot. Real life still does get in the way of writing. Thank you for the links.

I try to do that as well. It works sometimes. I do watch TV sometimes, but I find that more and more it is just on while I’m surfing online, checking blogs and reading emails. Some days I long for full-time writing, you know?

I have a lot of writing time, yet I still need more! I think we’re all like that, whether it’s writing or anything else we want/like to do. There are never enough hours in the day. I love the scorpion and hissing cockroach idea! I wonder if you get to name the beastie after your ex… Dead man elected to board – proof the zombie apocalypse is coming. That globule is like a cloud and very beautiful. Thanks for sharing! πŸ™‚

I wonder when I’ll ever NOT have one of those days.

I agree with Alex! Pull an Arthur Miller and just lock yourself away for a while πŸ™‚

  6. Dangnabbit! Haven’t seen that word in a while. Made me chuckle.
You should set aside one day to do just that. Even just an afternoon. Lock yourself in a room where you can’t be disturbed and just ignore the world. So something doesn’t get done – what’s the worst that could happen?

Maybe I should break out my plaid hat and overalls and shush everyone because I’m hunting rabbits, huh? πŸ˜‰ I think I will pull a lock myself away f or the day here in a little over a week. I have Presidents’ Day off, so I’m thinking all day writing day. Woo-hoo!
