Weekly News

Hello all! It’s Wednesday again – time for another posting of the news that I found interesting, intriguing, or just plain weird. This has been a much better week in my little corner of the galaxy. I hope you can say the same.

First up, a yummy treat courtesy of the police. I’m not sure where I fall on rewarding people for what they should be doing anyways – but as someone who normally follows the laws, I wouldn’t mind a little something. Coffee. Definitely coffee.

Next up, a very interesting marketing ploy. Go away it’s too snowy. (Not really. Come visit and spend your money 🙂  )

A first for science: an image of light as both particle and wave.

That’ll do it for this next to last week of winter. Cheers and whooping and hollering are totally appropriate now. Next week when I post, we will have two final days before the equinox. Yay! The sun is returning! The sun is returning!

About kimlajevardi

I am a forty-something-year-old writer. I'm currently drafting my second book. I've also written short stories, poems, and some non-fiction over the last several years. My interest in writing formed during countless hours with my nose tucked in books. I may have even been clutching a novel as I was born. :)

  1. Pizza and fries sound good.

That light article was very interesting.

    Have a great week, Kim.

Good to hear you’ve had nice week… I like those kind of weeks too:) Oh, yes please to Pizza:)

  3. I’m a pretty decent person most of the time – I wonder if I could just ask for a weekly pizza standing order?

I’m glad to hear life’s been good to you this past week. I’d battle snow for pizza and fries! I think the Ithica ad campaign is silly. A light wave = a lumpy rainbow. Have a great week!

  5. The police can reward me with pizza anytime. Although following the law shouldn’t need a reward.
Funny that Ithaca changed their website and told people to visit Key West instead.
