Well, hello there. Happy hump day!
Why the cheery mood? Dunno. I’m giddy for no specific reason. I could chalk it up to summer and the relaxing time I’ve had lately, but that’s part and parcel of having summers off. So I can’t fully explain it, but then again, good moods are better enjoyed than examined.
While I bask in my grin, some news.
First up, this is cool. I may be a dork, but being able to make a tortilla into a record seems like a great party trick.

Geez. It started out as a way to point out the insanity of walking with your attention somewhere else, but now they think it’s a good idea that should spread? What is wrong with us?

And on deck in the science slot for this week, an ongoing debate about whether time is real or merely a matter of human perspective. Color me intrigued.

That’ll do it for me once again. Have a great rest of your week–with a smile if you can.
That tortilla record is awesome. I think it would be hard to text and walk up the stairs. Escalators would be better for that.
Isn’t it? Escalators would definitely make texting easier, but so would stopping to text.
It’s great to hear that you’re feeling giddy and enthusiastic. Send some of that magic dust my way! A record on a tortilla? There’s a shortage of plastic/vinyl I didn’t know about? “Run, Walk, Text.” Hahaha! That’s awesome! They should make a special lane for texters on the roads… (Sorry, too tired to figure out the time one…) Have a great weekend!
The giddy dust didn’t last. Too bad I don’t have a potent secret stash of it. 🙂 No shortage, just people with a lot of time on their hands, but fun people. Have a great weekend yourself, Lex. I hope you got some rest.
Enjoy your good mood!
Here’s the really dumb part about those stairs – what happens when student texting is going up while one is going down? They will run into each other.
Thanks! I know. Stairs are about the stupidest possible place to not pay attention to your surroundings, and schools promoting that…ugh.
