Weekly News

Happy Wednesday. That sounds kind of dull, doesn’t it? Wonderful Wednesday. Nah… Welcome back Wednesday. Better. Hmm…

While I think about it some more–the news.

This first video speaks for itself. Watch. Trust me.

This next video clip has been all over the news, and so normally I’d avoid it, but it’s so cute. I just had to. πŸ˜‰

And in science news, ancient African huts could teach the world something about the earth’s magnetic field. This article is not just interesting in what they’ve discovered, but I also loved hearing about the South Atlantic Anomaly–I had no idea. Double learning. Yay!

That’ll do it for another week. It’s time for me to go fight with a computer that thinks it needs to die. Wish me good technical thoughts.

  1. The owl is so cute. I’ve never seen someone move a car like that before, except in movies.

Never upset a big biker… geez, can’t believe he just picked up that car and moved it. hehe

He’s like a sumo wrestler! That was awesome. I’ve never liked tiny cars. They’re little tin-can death traps. In any fender bender with an SUV, the little cars are totaled and the SUVs just drive away, nonchalant. The owl is adorable if odd. I totally don’t get how a magnetic shield can “leak out.” It’s not like it’s a solid. Getting weaker, ok, but leaking to another spot? nu-uh.

I hope your computer survives. I really need a new one. But the ones they have here are crap with lousy programs in them. So I work on my little old HP and wish Microsoft would come up with a good replacement for the 8 version coz I’d rather stay with 7 than go to 8.

The magnetic field field is weird, but I know that there’s a lot associated with our magnetic field that we don’t totally understand. My computer is having major issues. I’m currently using a back up, but I need to get it fixed because the back up is old and slow. 😦

  4. Wow, that dude was strong! Bet the driver was a bit freaked when he returned to his car.
And yeah, the owl was rather cute.
