Another Wednesday has rolled in and is carrying September away as it slides into Thursday. Its arrival come as I’m recovering from a beast of a cold that I brought back from my writing conference with me. And Nyquil is acting as an insufficiently sharpened stickpin–aluminum even. I need steel.
Maybe I just need to stop whining. Pfft…
Okay, okay. On to the news.
First up, a very wild ride (pun intended). Never take a kayak out on a whale watching tour–check, check. Glad they’re okay.
*Giggle* Every variation of his name is bad. Love this article. Can you hear the serious Olde English accents saying this out loud? In open court? *Giggle*
Tricky poop? I love evolution!

That’ll do it for me yet again. Time to curl up with my medicine, pillow and blankie. Sleepy and sick, and now I’m out for another week. See you in seven.
I’ve never been tempted to whale watch nor to paddle in a kayak. Seems like smart decisions now, don’t they? lol “Fourteenth-century revenge porn”! Haha! I’m not a fan of any insects that eat plants – except bees. I hope you recover quickly. I’ve been sick all week and am just starting to get over it now. Let’s hope fall is kinder to us. 🙂
I’m interested in kayaking, but not where building-sized creatures are swimming around. Call me crazy. 😉 I like insects–not in my house mind you, but I think they’re cool outside. I have recovered finally. I hate being sick. I hope you’ve recovered as well. Fall starts tomorrow, and I think it needs to remember that we’ve already had our colds for the season. No more for either of us.
Yes, the ten year old in me would be giggling.
That video of the whale was scary. It must’ve hit the back of their kayak. If it had landed on them, they would be dead.
Happy to have provided your inner child with a giggle. I agree about where the whale hit. Those kayakers got soooo lucky.
