I agree. I remember being that age, and we would have been talking about it for the rest of the year. 🙂
Maybe the bear just wanted an education? Did anyone consider that? No! Poor bear… I belonged to the SCA, too, but never had to fight off a burglar. I’m pretty pissed they charged him with “unlawful entry.” WTH is that? He was obviously there to steal something and perhaps even worse! He should get charged with B&E, burglary, trespassing and menacing and get locked up for 5 years at least. Two things scare me about the last post: that there’s an actual name “photomicrographer” and that the photo took 4 hrs to set up so was obviously eye sans bee!! Eww!!
Definitely after an education. He wants to know more about the birds and the bees…and the honey. 🙂 Throw the book at him, or maybe they could just let her have one more crack at him. I don’t even want to think about how they got the picture.

Bears seem to be invading everywhere right now. Looking for food and a place to sleep.
I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of it as well. 😉 Bears are an issue in my neck of the woods certain times of the year as well, but the idea of a bear day tickled me.
