Weekly News

Yet another week has come and gone. Am I the only one who thinks this year is going even faster than normal? I feel like I blinked and summer disappeared. Now, it’s almost Thanksgiving. Food is coming, but that’s little consolation as I get older and older by the second.

Depressing start, huh? Well, how about I throw in some giant rats? Will they change the mood?

Um, this is the only time I find myself cheering for an animal extinction. Those were huge rats.

Me please. I want to see.

Not a “Goldilocks” planet, but exceptionally important nonetheless.

That’ll do it for yet another week. Oh geez! Is that a gray hair? Ugh… It’s the rats. That’s it – the rats caused them.

  1. With all these holidays, time seems to be zooming on by. I look forward to some vacation time. Ewww, huge rats.

It seems the older I get, the faster time flies. Not sure how that works and I wish it’d stop.

  3. I am fascinated by empty buildings – especially those that look as though people just upped and left half-way through a meal or whatever. It always gets my imagination firing.
Conversely, I did not click on the link about rats 😉

  4. Shame those buildings were abandoned. I’m sure they were grand back in the day.
    Pass on the dog-sized rats!

Days and weeks do seem to slip by fast, and I never get as much done as I mean to. The rats in NYC subways are faring pretty damn well. And we have a big one living in the pump room of our building (though not “small dog” size). I love pics of abandoned buildings! So creepy! The planet is at 500-degrees?! No thanks. 😉

Can you imagine even bigger rats. Those dang things are freaky enough when they’re the size the are. Ick… I love abandoned buildings as well. You’re not up for clinging to the side of a planet and racing around its sun? Weird. 🙂
