Time once again for the monthly posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group. We are an amazing group of twitchy writers that stop shaking long enough to type out blog posts once a month. Click on the photo above to see where those brief shaking pauses lead. The awesome co-hosts today are: Stephen Tremp, Fundy Blue, MJ Fifield, Loni Townsend, Bish Denham, Susan Gourley, and Stephanie Faris!
I want to take the opportunity this month to share how excited I am for summer. I have three weeks left with kiddos before break starts, and I’m coming out of my skin ready. Hard-to-concentrate ready. Extra twittery ready.
Not insecure, just unfocused and child-like. How about everyone else out there? Do you have summer plans on the horizon?

Time for some news. The kid in me loves this first story for the pizza potential, but the practical side of me keeps thinking that it could get quite messy if you have to take it any distance. Guess that’s why they won’t yet deliver it. 😉
This is good.
Goldilocks strikes the galaxy again. I love the potential these planets hold.
That’ll do it for me. Back in seven, uh, make that eight.
We’re going into winter here and I can’t wait… the snuggling up, the hot Aussie summer gone:) hehe
Snuggling is good, and I’m not a fan of really hot weather. But… I have summer’s off.
I’m just looking forward to some down time.
I’d seen that pizza pizza box. Hope that’s dine in only.
It did say that for now the restaurant is not delivering it. UNtil they find a way to take it in a box, without a box. 😉
I’m ready for a quieter summer so I can finish writing and editing my own work.
That’s what I’m waiting for as well.
And the sensible gym instructor side of me is just thinking about the extra calories in that pizza! I love new planet stories – logically we just can’t be the anomaly in an infinite universe, it’s statistically impossible.
Agree and agree. The calories would be so high. Yum, but high. And I agree about the statistical improbability.
I wish I could say “Yay” for summer, but for me it’s waaay too hot, so I’ll wait till next winter to say “Yay!” The pizza people are weird but I love their Prince Tribute – so funny! That’s SO sweet about the homeless violin guy. Made me tear up… Yes! I want to live on a cozy planet – not too hot, not too cold. Sign me up NASA! 🙂
I get the heat thing for you. It gets so much hotter where you are than where I am. But I’m still sooooo ready. I loved the homeless guy story as well. Some things just need to be done to preserve the beauty of life. You and Goldilocks both. 😉
