Weekly News

It’s still Tuesday, don’t check your cat calendar. I’m posting this a day early because I have evening plans tomorrow. And boy was this a banner day to check the news.  I have intriguing science news below to tickle your brain.

First up, I can’t decide if this is the first step toward Terminator-style world changes or an amazing step forward into a new era in human engineering. Take a look.

I think she overreacted just a bit.

It may be nothing, but it could be a game changer. Not a bad way to end the news, huh? Have a great week. See you in seven.

I am a forty-something-year-old writer. I'm currently drafting my second book. I've also written short stories, poems, and some non-fiction over the last several years. My interest in writing formed during countless hours with my nose tucked in books. I may have even been clutching a novel as I was born. :)

  1. I think that woman was missing a few screws. Not sure what I think about the robot. Every time some new process is automated, I feel sorry for the human workers that will lose their jobs because of it. I feel that the people and the money they bring home to feed their families are more important than this type of scientific progress. Jobs are scarce as it is. The Russian radio telescope signal is intriguing. I wonder why they waited so long to reveal it and if it really means we’re not alone.

  2. That woman was insane.
That robot does have a terminator feel to it.

I wonder where they’d use a robot like that. The homes seem cookie-cutter, and who’d want that? Perhaps areas destroyed by earthquakes, etc. See? The crazy driver is why I say 20 times a day, “Is everyone an idiot??” The Russian telescope saw the signal a year ago and only reported it now? Were they taking a real long coffee break over there or what? LOL! Have a good week, Kim. 🙂

I think you’re on to something in terms of that robot’s use. There are not a lot of idiots, but the ones we have are doozies – probably should capitalize DOOZIES. 🙂

That year wait is significant, and makes me even more intrigued by the signal. Did they wait because they believe it is a game changer? Did they finally release the information because they plumbed it as much as they can? Is it so big that they had to release it because their investigation will cause attention? I want the answer to one of those to be yes. If they’re good aliens, that is. 🙂

I hope you have a great week as well, Lex!

Now that’s an impressive robot… not sure how sturdy the building would be, but looks promising for the future.
