Weekly News

Wow! The United States just experienced an unbelievable presidential election result. For those of you outside the U.S. I cannot begin to describe the impact of this event on every aspect of life today. Everyone has their opinions and feelings regarding this election, but I must admit to an overwhelming sense of malaise today. To combat it, and lift the mood of anyone who feels similarly: music.

Feel free to partake, even if you are pleased by the results or are completely ambivalent.

This first one feels good. Fighting doesn’t mean staying divided. We can fight by refusing to BE divided.

“Once I rose above the noise and confusion…” Can’t beat this Kansas doozy. Bonus feature: Supernatural footage. 😉

Last up tonight is my current way to lift my spirits. Andra Day is awesome! You’re welcome!

Sleep well, my friends. I’ll see you in seven.

I’m still shell shocked and so glad I no longer live in the US. In my experience, I’ve seen how prejudice and misogyny lurk just below the surface, but I’m surprised to see them break into the open. I think it’s “whitelash” in response to the rise of the pc culture, that began with things like diversity on TV. They want to go back to “All in the Family” times when our modern world has become “Will & Grace.”

  2. It was a surreal day.
We can only go forward and pray for the best from our leadership.
