Weekly News

Sorry I’m a day late. I’ve been nursing a sore throat and incredibly-tired body through the last few days of the school year, and I spent most of last evening napping and groggily vegging between naps and bedtime. But I finished my school year, took a nap, and now sit with tea and a strong dose of resolve to get this done. Time for some news.

This first story caused a big ol’ eww to escape my lips. Not going to go, not going to even imagine this icky pop-up cafe. No rats for me.

Doesn’t this describe all cats?

The regurgitation of seeds being an important means of dispersal is important for science, but I really picked this story for the tree-climbing goats. Seriously. I heart science. I can’t make this stuff up.

That’ll do it for me. The act of reading and typing actually helped me feel awake. I’m going to stay here in my office and get some writing done. Yay!

I just saw a Pinterest picture of those tree climbing goats this week.

I used to have pet rats (Ben & Socrates) and I would gladly eat at that cafe. I don’t think my husband would go in with me though.

I’ve heard of peeps who keep rats as pets. Eww. Tom-cats are a pain no matter which species they are… Love the goats!! So cute on the top of the tree!! I hope you feel better soon. 🙂

Thanks, Lex! It was a very strange cold. I was super lethargic and had a very sore throat, but that was the extent of it. After sleeping a bunch for a couple of days and a lot of hot tea, it just went away without becoming something more like a regular cold. Guess I can’t complain, but it’s nice to be rid of it. I hope you have a good end of your week.

  3. Not eating with rats.
I wonder if Mr. Bigglesworth minds if people gnaw on him?
Hope you are back up to a hundred percent soon!
