Weekly News

Welcome back, all. The last seven days has been interesting in my neck of the woods. I’m back from the Pacific Northwest Writers Association conference, a conference where I took second place in Mainstream/Literary for my first book. It feels pretty good and helped me get my ms back out there. I’ve had it in a virtual drawer for the last six months, and yesterday, I fulfilled submission requests for a full and several partials. 🙂

And tomorrow, I am going to participate in the IWSG Twitter pitch. Yet another chance to breathe life into my search for a home for Silent Witnesses. If you are interested in Twitter pitching, click the link below. After that, the news.

First up, a big old nope. No, very much no.

Now, I want fresh bread. Can you imagine cleaning that up?

I think many comic book writers look to science for inspiration. Good call. I would love to be able to shape shift.

That’s all folks. See you back here in seven.

  1. I hope your Twitter pitch went well! And wow. Submissions! People still ask for partials? That’s shocking to me, since it’s just as easy to send a full. Maybe their inboxes have size limitations? *shrugs* My toes are cross for you.

  2. Congrats on your 2nd place, and on all the requests. Fingers crossed you get some positive outcomes 🙂
