Weekly News

Happy Wednesday! January is racing away, sending us all careening toward February. Do you feel yourself careening? I do. And since it is absolutely inevitable in our current crazy timeline, some news and a song to make it more enjoyable.

This first story has a different kind of racing. Jetson-like travel is fewer than five years away if you visit Florida. Mind blown. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5fac5a15c5b635e9de9e8f70

In science news tonight, Saturn is tilted in its axis because of its moons. I heart science. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2021/01/210121132103.htm

I leave you some Billie Eilish. Stay healthy. I’ll see you in seven. https://youtu.be/EgBJmlPo8Xw

About kimlajevardi

I am a forty-something-year-old writer. I'm currently drafting my second book. I've also written short stories, poems, and some non-fiction over the last several years. My interest in writing formed during countless hours with my nose tucked in books. I may have even been clutching a novel as I was born. :)

Happy IWSG Day, Kim! I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. Take care and stay healthy!

  2. I’d read about that new airport for flying vehicles a while back. I’d never get in one but more power to those who would.

  3. I agree that January has flown by. I’m glad and hope the upcoming months fly by until I can get vaccinated. That’s an interesting article about flying cars.

  4. Astronomers are a weird bunch, aren’t they? They’re either looking millions of years into the past, or millions into the future. To have all those theories and never know whether you were right…

I’m not good with heights. When everyone is flying, I’ll be on the road – and what a smooth, quiet journey it’ll be 🙂
