Weekly News

Wednesday has rolled into being once again. You know what that means, don’t you? News and music nuggets.

This first story has such a good doggie. I’m glad he’s okay. https://www.khq.com/news/dog-ejected-from-car-during-sunday-crash-found-on-sheep-farm-herding-sheep/article_fc15bfe6-c805-11eb-ae68-7fb69c0af0d6.html

A major new study shows waking up as little as one hour earlier can help relieve some depression symptoms. Science can do so much to help make peoples’ lives better. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2021/05/210528114107.htm

I leave you with a oldie. Enjoy! I’ll see you in seven. https://youtu.be/iX_TFkut1PM

About kimlajevardi

I am a forty-something-year-old writer. I'm currently drafting my second book. I've also written short stories, poems, and some non-fiction over the last several years. My interest in writing formed during countless hours with my nose tucked in books. I may have even been clutching a novel as I was born. :)

    Maybe it should end then.

  2. I wake anywhere between 4 and 7am – early is not better for me, it makes me grumpy and eat more chocolate!
I couldn’t read the article about the dog because I’m in the UK, but I can imagine given the thorough URL 😉
American Pie makes me cry ever since I watched the finale of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. Did you see it? So good.

I haven’t seen it. I did see it was cancelled but fans are trying to save it. I hope they’re successful!

      • I thought the story actually ended perfectly. I’m not sure it needs another season, and it’s possible I wouldn’t watch it.
I’m in the UK – one of my favourite series ever – dinnerladies – was 2 seasons, and 16 half-hour episodes in total. We do short, sharp, and (in some cases) technically flawless comedies.
