Welcome to the March 2022 posting for Insecure Writer’s Support Group (IWSG). If you haven’t already checked out the monthly crew, remedy your mistake by clicking on the image above. Here are the amazing four who are co-hosting this month: Janet Alcorn, Pat Garcia, Natalie Aguirre, and Shannon Lawrence!
The optional question this month is–have you ever been conflicted about writing a story or adding a scene to a story? How did you decide to write it or not?
I can’t say I’ve been conflicted about writing a story per se, but I have always been challenged by some aspect of what I’m writing. I write it anyway. Maybe I should even say that I have to write it if it challenges me. Being a masochist is part of the gig. Time for some news.
This first story involves a traveling hat. It could be a very simple explanation, but I prefer something far less simple–otherworldly maybe. 🙂
I’ve never seen a featherwing beetle before, but now I’m fascinated. The science of the natural world rocks!
I leave you with a song. Enjoy and I’ll see you in seven.
