It is time again for the Insecure Writer’s Support Group (IWSG). If you haven’t checked it out yet, click on the image above and get to it.The awesome co-hosts for the April 5 posting of the IWSG are Jemima Pett, Nancy Gideon, and Natalie Aguirre!
The optional questions this month are – Do you remember writing your first book? What were your thoughts about a career path on writing? Where are you now and how is it working out for you? If you’re at the start of the journey, what are your goals?
When I started writing my first book in 2013, I had zero clue where I was going. After dabbling with short stories and poems, I was struck by the idea that became my first book. I stumbled through learning how to write three first person POVs, and in that process I became hooked. Since then, I have completed three books, began the plan for the proposal of the second book in my fantasy series, and a shiny new idea has recently poked its head up. I’m not as far into my journey as I’d like to be, but I am no longer at the beginning. Always onward!
And now, time for some news.
My first story tonight has one thing after another. Many criminals make strange decisions that get them caught, but this guy seems to have gone way beyond strange.

In science news, the James Web Space Telescope detected the oldest known black hole in the universe. I heart astronomy!
I leave you with a little song to close out your read in style. Enjoy and I’ll see you in seven.
