Hello all!
I’m back for yet another week, and I have thawed out. Yay! I hope that wherever you are, you are both safe and warm. My thoughts are with all of those in Missouri and New York. The news is rarely as light and fun as the pieces I post. Both humans and Mother Nature throw challenges that individuals and communities need to adjust to, and it can be more than tough. Positive thoughts to all of those out there dealing with those biggies at the moment.
A small reminder about something else Mother Nature is responsible for.

People are also capable of great things, including kindness. It’s easy to forget that sometimes. Here’s just one example to remind.
Science to back up the importance of human kindness.

With the holidays around the corner, take a moment to breathe in the beauty of this season and hug your loved ones.
I’m glad to hear about people’s kindness when there’s so much negativity in this world. I had no idea baby elephants were so clumsy, lol.
Me too. Cute, but clumsy.
I feel so guilty about laughing at those baby elephants falling down! But I laughed anyway! What a great thing for the Houston guy to do. There has to be another way besides throwing away the lunches of debtors’ children. That’s just so wrong morally and a horrible waste of food. I’m not sure finding that mature women are compassionate is much of a surprise… Thanks for the news, Kim! 🙂
They were too cute not to laugh. The lunch situation is bad, but knowing there are people out there to help feels goods. I’m glad you enjoyed the news, Lex!
That was really nice of that guy to pay off all those lunches. Although over half the kids are on reduced or free lunches? That’s a scary high amount.
It is sad, isn’t it? I work in a school, and it’s always sad when kids go without.
