Weekly News

Hello All! It’s that time again. I know you’ve all being waiting on the edges of your seats for what I would come up with this week. You can admit it. πŸ™‚

I won’t make you wait any longer.

This first piece is cute and funny. I love the fact that this father makes his daughter a part of his business, and who can beat vacuum cleaner representatives in a nativity?

Um, what? Seriously? These people were elected?

And in science news, results from landing on the comet. Very interesting!

That’ll do it for me tonight. I hope you enjoy your week as much as I plan on enjoying mine.

Hard to believe all the water on Earth start with some comet collisions. I wonder if that’s true.

I can’t believe they’re picking on Winnie the Pooh! These people need to find other things to keep them occupied.

  4. I love those Henrys, especially the knitted baby one πŸ™‚

It’s amazing what we’re still discovering about the solar system. Well, not ‘we’, obviously, people much more clever than me!

  5. OMG that town is taking Winnie the Pooh WAYYYYY too seriously!

  6. Patsy's avatar Patsy says:

Ummm, they foret the part about Winnie being a bear, which can be quite a dangerous animal.

  7. I love your interesting links. I’ll have to bookmark since I’m almost out the door.

  8. Wild to think comets carry water.

Well, if you own a vacuum store, what are you going to do but make a Hoover nativity scene? lol I heard about the whole banning Winnie the Pooh thing. No stupidity surprises me anymore – there’s just so much of it out there. I had no idea our water was extra-terrestrial! Wow! Have a lovely weekend, Kim! πŸ™‚

Not only is our water extra-terrestrial, but it’s been used over and over since the beginning. I love pulling that little tidbit out of my hat every year with my students. When I let them picture what the dinosaurs did with the water after they drank it, and then go on to teach The Water Cycle… it’s a hoot. πŸ™‚

I hope you had a great weekend as well, Lex!
