I’m a little early this week, I know. Confused? Don’t worry–I didn’t lose track of time again. I have to attend a national competition that my students are participating in. School is still over–they couldn’t drag me in during the summer with even the biggest of nets–but National’s are during the summer because students come from many states. Short story long, I won’t be around tomorrow.
So early news it is. 🙂
I’m thinking that the expense of a crane, and the size of what it lifts warrants some measure of experience for use. Call me crazy.

As a teacher, this would be so embarrassing. Â Printers make mistakes, but, um… maybe checking the diplomas before you give them out would be wise. Ouch.
And in science news, attempting to define black holes. This is so cool because it could rewrite our understanding of the universe. I think. And if the rest of the universe is imperfect, then maybe they’re correct about the copies made by black holes. Wouldn’t it be interesting to think of black holes as giant galactic copy machines?

That’ll do it for another week. I’m off to pack. Fingers crossed for my team. Have a fantastic week, and I’ll see you next Wednesday.
I’m with Cherie. I barely looked at my diploma, but that is pretty embarrassing to put the wrong seal on it.
I hope black holes are benign. I never liked the description of those things.
I think the most embarrassment is felt by the teachers and administrators. It’s just one of those things, but I would be mortified.
I hope they are benign as well–as much because then they may have uses to us.
Oh, that wouldn’t be good about the diplomas, but then again, I wonder how many would even notice. I got my diploma and stuck it in a drawer somewhere. I don’t think I even looked at it beyond a passing glance.
It’s probably just a black eye felt by the teachers and admin that participated in the graduation. Embarrassment by proximity.
Am I awful that I love watching mishaps and bloopers? Wrong state seal, huh? Oops. Fuzzball or Firewall of Death? I vote Fuzzball. The universe needs more fuzzballs, right? Have a great week!
I love watching bloopers too. Funny and cringe-worthy. Fuzzball copy machine would be awesome. Thanks, you too!
Wrong state seal? That’s bad.
Hope your kids do well at Nationals.
Thanks! We didn’t win, but we had a great experience.
