Weekly News and Book Release

Wednesday is back. Friday is closer, not close enough, but closer. To deal with the Friday-takes-too-long-to-arrive blues, some news that made me smile.

I just don’t have words. Wait, maybe one. Seriously?

I go back to the fact that some people have way too much time. Really.

In science news, a yummy way to battle what I consider one of the worst ways to end your life.

That’ll do it for a post that jumped from tampons to chihuahuas to the power of maple syrup. Told you the stories were smile inducing.

My friend and critique partner T. F. Walsh is celebrating her newest book Cloaked in Secrecy. A great new release for lovers of paranormal romance. Enjoy!

Book & Author Details:
Cloaked in Secrecy by T.F. Walsh
(The Wulfkin Legacy #2)
Published by: Crimson Romance
Publication date: March 14th 2016
Genres: Adult, Paranormal

What better way for a pack of wulfkin shifters to remain in seclusion than to hide in plain sight?

Death has followed Alena Novacs circus family for years, but when the police arrest her brother for murder, she must rescue him before he transforms behind prison walls. With less than a week to execute her plan, a member from the Varlac family who murdered her mother reappears. Now, Alena has to decide whether to make good on her promise to avenge her mothers death or risk rescuing her brother.

Enre Ulf has one mission prevent Alenas father from claiming his territory and slaughtering his wulfkin pack in Transylvania. Enre may have turned his back on his Varlac heritage, but that doesnt mean he wont impersonate one to infiltrate the circus clan and take out their alpha. Knowing that his secrets will lead to his demise, Enre takes the risk in order to save his home. What he never planned on was his wolf claiming Alena as his mate.

Now with the police closing in, and the real Varlac threatening them, Alena and Enre must overcome their pasts to save their packs futures.

Cloaked in Secrecy is the book 2 in the Wulfkin Legacy series, but can be read a stand-alone-book.

T.F. Walsh emigrated from Romania to Australia at the age of eight and now lives in a regional city south of Sydney with her husband. Growing up hearing dark fairytales, she’s always had a passion for reading and writing horror, paranormal romance, urban fantasy and young adult stories. She balances all the dark with light fluffy stuff like baking and traveling.

Yay for Tania’s new book – it’s awesome! I think smuggling anything in a fake tampax pkg is pretty gross. I’m afraid I thought that edible cupcakes/chihuahuas?/cupcakes are also pretty gross. But how great that something as natural and delicious as maple syrup can help Alzheimer’s patients! Have a lovely weekend, Kim! 🙂

I’m with you on the tampax thing. The chihuahua comparison is just strange in my book. I think people go looking for things to post on Facebook and the like. But maple syrup is not the bomb. If it really has even a small effect on Alzheimer’s, then it is worth every calorie it carries. Thanks for the well wishes, Lex! Same to you! 🙂

Yes, seriously? You’re that desperate you need something so tiny to smuggle in booze?

  3. You had me at the words “someone invented tampons you can …” I was prepared for anything, but still surprised by what I found. Cloaked in Secrecy sounds like a good read. I love werewolves and circus people 🙂

  4. Congratulations to TF!
Wow, chihuahuas really do look like muffins.
