Welcome back to my newest feature: Psychic Weather Forecasts. I didn’t know it two weeks ago, but when I bemoaned my state’s bipolar weather, I was just a measly 14 days away from a pretty dramatic example. Tuesday it was 73 degrees and sunny. Gorgeous. And today–um… a blizzard. In my city alone there was a foot-and-a-half of snow that fell between five am and five pm. What can I say? That’s Colorado in the spring. All in all I wasn’t sad, though. I did get a snow day out of it, so major snow-covered silver lining.
Since I got the benefit of a free day and a smile, I’ll share the part of that I can: a smile. Here’s some news to lift both edges of your mouth just a tad bit higher. Perhaps even cause a laugh out loud. You know, it’s what LOL actually stands for in the real world. 🙂
Every once in a while I just have to share a cat video. There’s a reason they’re everywhere. That’s one clever cat. At one point he even appears to look back at the other one to study it.
I just couldn’t pass this one up either. Again, I promised to share a smile. Enjoy. 😉
Science for the win. Again. This is so much better than wet t-shirt contests. I hope they get fully funded.

That’s all for the night. I’m going to go curl up on the couch with a cup of hot tea and enjoy the fact that I just found out that I have tomorrow off as well. Major yippee! Have a fabulous week and enjoy whatever weather is completing your view of the world.
“…a snow-covered silver lining.” LOL! I have no idea how that cat turned on the light. It’s a mystery… Yes, I had to smile at the pig – so funny! See the anatomy inside the chests of friends and complete strangers alike? Umm – no. Have a great weekend, Kim!
Glad you liked that line. The cat was brilliant, huh? I think the shirt just projects a generic anatomy–not the actual person’s anatomy. But, the implication is to give people/kids the sense of the inner workings beneath the skin. At least that was my teacher take on things. Have a great weekend, Lex!
Our weather’s taken a downward shift again too. Luckily not blizzard weather, but cold and wet. Cats are awesome. Mine just sleeps – not a very interesting video 🙂
Our snow was very wet. And shock of all shocks, the weather immediately changed back. The snow is melting so fast because Thursday was back up to 50 degrees. We have the strangest weather.
Sleeping cats don’t sound fun, but I bet he/she has his/her moments. Maybe it’s just super stealthy. 🙂
X-Ray vision t-shirt. That’s ambitious.
Our weather has been up and down, but we didn’t get cold enough for snow. Bummer. Get out there and enjoy your weekend in it!
It is ambitious and so cool.
The snow does shake things up a bit, but we’re used to it. I won’t change much about my plans. Running in snow is just as accomplishable as running on dry ground. I’ll just don my ninja running gear. 🙂
