Weekly News

Welcome back to yet another Wednesday. We’re halfway through October, well on our way to Halloween. Many people I know are looking forward to a feeling of normalcy they hope comes from the getting into the holiday season. I hope it provides that for all of us. We need it.

This first story just flat-out cracked me up. Please stop calling the police on the sunfish. 😂 https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5f875826c5b6c5eccffcf2da

In science tonight, do cats and dogs have good memories? It turns out food is a memory motivator. I’m shocked I tell you. 😜 https://www.livescience.com/58602-do-cats-dogs-have-long-term-memories.html

My song choice tonight is an old favorite from The Carpenters. Her voice always gets me. Enjoy! See you in seven. https://youtu.be/PjFoQxjgbrs

  1. Yes they have memories! Star knows exactly what time he gets his treat every day. Even my fish know when they are going to be fed.

  2. That is a really big fish. So freaky looking.
I wonder how much traveling people will do this holiday season?

  3. My dog remembers where he saw every single cat he’s ever seen. Even if it was months/years since we walked a certain street, he’ll be pulling at the lead because a cat was there once.

    Beautiful song.
