Yes they have memories! Star knows exactly what time he gets his treat every day. Even my fish know when they are going to be fed.

My dog remembers where he saw every single cat he’s ever seen. Even if it was months/years since we walked a certain street, he’ll be pulling at the lead because a cat was there once.
